Summons

Upon the twenty-ninth day of November, in the year Two Thousand and Twenty-Five, as the morning sun climbs the eastern sky, the brethren shall gather at the Ionic Temple within the venerable halls of Freemasons Hall, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham.

There, at the hour of ten and a half past dawn, a rite most rare shall unfold; a double initiation, wherein two valiant souls, both named Tom, and drawn to our fellowship through the ancient art of gaming, shall take their first steps upon the paths of light.

When the solemn vows are spoken and the mysteries unveiled, the company shall journey to a feast of Eastern splendour. A banquet of spices and savour, echoing the revels of midsummer past. The cost of this bounty is but twenty-three pieces of silver.

Yet the day’s tale does not end with meat and mead. For when the feast is done and the shadows lengthen, the brethren and their companions shall embark upon a grand adventure, a mighty game of Dungeons and Dragons, played upon four or five tables, where even the untested and the timid are welcome to join.

For four hours shall the fellowship endure, with pauses for rest and mirth, as heroes storm the fiery halls of a castle wrought upon the edge of doom, or delve into the molten heart of a volcano, to clash with a Dragon whose wrath is legend.

Come forth, ye seekers of glory, and take thy place in this saga of brotherhood and daring!

Installation 2025

Saturday 25th October, 10:30am
Goldsmith Street Nottingham

O ye Companions of the Craft, hearken now to this call!

Upon the twenty-fifth day of October, as the sun rises behind the eastern hills and the stars retreat from the azure sky, the brethren of Dragon Lodge and their guests shall gather in solemn assembly.

For on that hallowed day, a new Primarch shall be raised, one chosen by fate and fellowship to bear the mantle of Worshipful Master, and to guide the Lodge through shadow and light.

Let all Freemasons, from near and far, come forth to witness this rite of passage, steeped in ancient lore and noble tradition.

The ceremony shall be followed by a feast most grand, and when the last goblet is drained and the final toast made, the hall shall be transformed. Kin and kindred may join us, for the hours of gaming and contest shall begin, where minds shall clash in friendly battle, and laughter echo through the stone.

Bring thy friends, thy family, and thy fellowship. Let the bonds of brotherhood be strengthened, and let merriment reign beneath the stars.

Reserve thy place ere the hour grows late:
